Tianmen Shan

Our first day in Zhangjiajie was an overcast grey day, the brightest thing being a bowl of spicy beef noodles to warm the soul. After a nearly 7.5 kilometer cable car ride, the world's longest mountain cable way, we stood atop Tianmen Shan. Looking down at the perfect white blanket with blue skys above, surely we'd passed through Heaven's Gate.
