Mingshi Village

When visiting Mingshi Village in Guangxi, I was captivated by the serene beauty of this hidden gem, often referred to as the “Small Guilin.” Nestled among stunning karst landscapes and crystal-clear waters, this village offers a glimpse into the tranquil life of the Zhuang people.

One of the most memorable experiences was taking a bamboo raft ride down the Mingshi River. As we floated along, the lush greenery and dramatic limestone peaks created a picturesque scene that felt like stepping into a painting. The local Zhuang culture is deeply intertwined with the natural surroundings, and their respect for the environment is evident in every aspect of village life.
